Do I need to register an account with scientificscholar.com to submit an article?

Yes. Scientificscholar.com is the publisher of the journal and host of the manuscript management system. So, you need to register with EditorialAssist to upload a manuscript to a journal.

I have registered with editorialassist.com as a new user. It said that an email has been sent to my email address for verification. But I have not received an email. What can I do?

  • When a new account is registered with EditorialAssist server will send an automated verification email
  • Sometimes the email can go into spam/junk folder. Please check the spam/junk folder.
  • Add no-reply@editorialassist.com to your address book. This will avoid the email from EditorialAssist.com landing in spam/junk folder.
  • If you did not receive the email even after 2 hours of registration,  please write to us at technical.team@editorialassist.com.

How can I change my password?

  • Log in to your Account in https://editorialassist.com/.
  • In My Portal section click on My Personal Information.
  • Click on the “Edit” link against the “Portal Password”
  • Input the old and new passwords, then click “Save Changes”.

I forgot my password. How can I retrieve it back?

  • Go to https://editorialassist.com/#/recover
  • Input your email address that is associated with the editorialassist.com account and click Send me new Password.
  • The Editorial Assist server will send an automated email to your registered email address.
  • Please check the spam/junk folder if you do not receive an email in about 15 minutes. Add no-reply@editorialassist.com to your address book to avoid emails from editorialassist.com landing in spam/junk folder.
  • Follow the instructions in the email to reset your password.

My password does not work. What can I do?

  • Please check the upper and lower case while entering the password. (‘A’ is not the same as ‘a’)
  • Please pay attention to each keystroke. Sometime, even if you press a key properly, it may fail to enter the corresponding letter on the screen
  • If you have previously reset the password please remember the last password that you used during the last reset. That is the only password that can work to log in. Previous passwords will not work.
  • If all of the above fails to work, you can reset the password again.

I submitted a manuscript for publication and it was returned for technical modifications. How can I resubmit it?

  • Login to the author panel.
  • Click the resubmit link and upload your manuscript.
